Print jobs of our large scale photo art require the finest quality in hardware and software. Furthermore, image handling is performed by skilled personnel that has years of experience in photo art production. The production has the capacity to handle even large prints up to 2 meters in width and as such no limit on the long axis. Normally the Mount is the limiting factor. Out of the vast number of solutions we have selected the following that best meet our standards:
Also called Lambda Print/Photo Print. This technology adds a nice texture to the print and the end result gets close to a painting as we know it, where the ink is spread more even than the painting, but with the same kind of hard surface. Black, being the most difficult colour for any print, is handled perfectly by this technology. Transition from black towards the other end of the colour scale also translates nicely in the image. The harder surface in this print allows for open exposure to the room in which it is displayed. In that case protection from light and UV must be concidered.
Limiting Factor: Max width 125 cm (short axis)
Inkjet is probably the best known technology for photo print jobs. This is no ordinary Inkjet though. The impression of this print can best be described as a velvet look. Concider extreme mat and a surface that changes when touched. I ran my fingers over a fresh print, leaving stribes in the print. This is a must see to believe, however, the backside to this technolgy is extreme sensitivity to physical contact of any kind. Therefore, we have to recommend a cover for the Inkjet prints. Due to the velvet surface, lamination is not an option for the Inkjets. For this purpose we recommend invisible glass with a UV configuration. Reflections are lowered in a very effective way, and behind glass this is as close as you get to the inkjet print.
